The Executive Chairman of Okehi Local Government Area, Hon Abdulraheem Ohiare Ozovehe today paid homage to His Royal Majesty, the Ohinoyi of Ebiraland and Acting President of Kogi State Traditional Council in his Azad Palace today.
The Council Chairman who was in the company of his beloved Wife and Chairperson of Okehi LG Council, Hajia Zainab Abdulraheem Ohiare led the Okehi LG Political, Administrative, and Traditional Council to pay them homage and as well presented to the revered Royal Father the National Award he recently won on Security amongst the 774 Local Government Chairmen in Nigeria.
Opening prayers were offered by the Chief of Staff to the Executive Chairman, Hon Hassan Otori Shaibu, and rich opening remarks were given by the Secretary to the LG, Hon Ibrahim Seidu.
In his speech, the Council Chairman thanked God almighty and His Excellency, Alh Yahaya Adoza Bello for making the feat a reality. He asserted that the National Award has truly amplified the already obvious fact that Governor Yahaya Bello remains the most Security Conscious Executive Governor in Nigeria and Kogi the most secured State. He also thanked the Paramount Ruler for his continuous prayers and Royal Advice that have helped make Ebiraland and Kogi State safe and secured. He prayed God Almighty to grant Ebiraland unlimited peace and progress all time and as well bless the Royal Father with His long life, sound health, wisdom, and God’s guidance with a remarkable reign.
In his remarks, His Royal Majesty couldn’t hide his excitement as he showered his Royal blessings upon the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello; the Executive Chairman, Hon Abdulraheem Ohiare Ozovehe and members of his entourage. Having prayed for the Traditional Rulers in attendance for their love and support, he prayed for the success of the Presidential Ambition of Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello referring to it as a prayer already accepted by God Almighty.
The climax of the homage was the presentation of the National Award to the Royal Majesty for his acknowledgment and Royal Blessings.
Before rounding up the homage visit, prayers, and Kolanut breaking by the Adeika of Eika, HRH Abubakar S. Jatto took the center stage while the Obobanyi of Ihima, HRH Samuel Adai Onimisi; Asema of Uka, HRH Nasiru Momoh, and one other drew the curtains with Closing remarks and prayers.
